Bloomfield Composting Ltd is a relatively recent addition to the Humphries Holdings Group of companies and its prime objective is to recycle the organic and bio-degradable material resulting from the demolition and waste collection operations of the other group members.
Bloomfield Composting Ltd is an independent, private owned and managed company, has consistently focused on the exact and specific requirements of each market sector and individual customer needs.
Its operation facility is considered to be one of the best in the country and extends 18 acres.
This site has a network of concrete roadways and has its own concrete reservoirs for water storage and lechate collection.
The site will also take in Greenwastes from Local Authority civic amenity sites.
Much of the finished composted material is supplied to National Housebuilders for landscaping works sometimes on the site where the pre-composted material originated from (when demolition and site clearance works were carried out by our demolition arm).
It is our intention that Bloomfield Composting Ltd develops to operate in vessel composting systems on site and also to produce a compost tea for sale as organic pest control spray. New raw material sources and types will be systematically researched, trialed and tested, using the company in-house research and development facilities, to produce future generations of Bloomfield products.
The welcomed changing attitude towards environmentally sound products from recycled, renewable sources, coupled with the major changes in legislation, effecting the disposal of residual material from the agricultural, industrial and domestic waste stream, presents Bloomfield with exciting challenges.
Bloomfield Composting Ltd has adequate resources in terms of skilled personnel, processing capacity and finance to convert its raw materials into valuable, cost effective products to meet exacting customer requirements.
